Today's songs will be the ones from JYJ's first album. JYJ is a group that has the three members of TVXQ, Jae-Joong, Yu-Chun, Joon-Su.

The only problem that I see is JYJ's pronunciation. They are Korean, so they can't pronounce English so well, so that makes the lyrics not understandble. That is a big problem, actually. I should be able to hear the lyrics without looking, but I can't understand what they are saying, actually.

Anyway, I hope they do well.

Today's song is Big Bang's "Good Person." I like this song, because of the lyrics;

Today's song is Whitney Houston's "Run to you."

This is a song that I personally like to listen to and sing, too. The song is from the movie "Body Guard," which is a movie that Whitney Houston acted. The famous song "I Have Nothing" is also from this movie:)

Big Bang - 멍청한 사랑 (Foolish Love)

Today, I will be posting about Big Bang's song "Foolish Love."

Big Bang is a Korean Hip-hop/Dance group with five members, and they write lyrics and compose most of their songs, which is what not many Korean groups do. Big Bang is one of the most famous groups in Korea, and are gaining poularity in Japan.

I like this song because the rap is nice, and the beat, melody, and rythm is catchy.

TVXQ - Kiss shita mama

Today's song is TVXQ's Kiss shita mama, which means "Good bye while Kissing."
The song is about a lover passing away while kissing. It's a sad song, and Micky Yu-Chun and Hero Jae-Jung composed the song and wrote the lyrics for this song.

SHINee - Hello

Today's song is SHINee's "Hello."

SHINee is a five-member boy group, and this song is one of their newest songs.
I like this song a lot, and listen to it every day. SHINee is a popular, yet growing group. I mean they keep on improving. Their singing, dancing, music and performance . . . all these are getting better:)

Michael Jackson - Man in the Mirror

Today's post will be about Michael Jackson's Man in the Mirror.
I listened to part of the song about three days ago, and immediately searched for the full version of the song. I also downloaded the mp3 (music) file. I like this song because it tells you that if you want to change the world, "the man in the mirror" (yourself) needs to change first.

Oh, and I found a new way to listen to the songs I'm posting about.

This song is a very new and popular one, sung by 2ne1 (21/To Anyone), and the Music Video is very interesting! One thing I like about Korean Music Videos is that every music video is so interesting and fun, and has so many things to see! Anyway, the title of this song is "Can't Nobody."

Boyz II Men - Relax your Mind

Here is a song I came to know, and now like so much. Boyz II Men - Relax your Mind is the thing. Like the song's title, the song itself really makes me relax. I really like Boys II Men's voice now. The beat and rythm, melody of the song is very catchy and makes you move your head to the rythm.

I hope anyone who listens to this song can relax their mind:)

Beyonce - Sweet Dreams

The song I am posting today is "Beyonce - Sweet Dreams." I listened the melody of the song coming out of the TV, and liked it a lot, so searched hard to find out what the song is. I knew that it was Beyonce's song, because I listen to a lot of her songs and could recognize her voice.

Anyway, I found the song listened to it, and watched the music video. I think the story of the music video is Beyonce wanting to see the person she loves but can only see in her dreams. That is why she says "Sweet Dreams." I think she also says "Beautiful nightmare" because when she wakes up, she cannot see the person she loves anymore.

I especially liked how the song started, with a strong catchy beat, and also like the part where she sings "It can be a sweet dream- or a becautiful nightmare", too.

Micky Yu-Chun - My Girlfriend

Today's post will be about TVXQ Micky Yu-chun's solo song. He wrote the lyrics to it, in English! He actually lived in America since the sixth grade, I think, so he can speak English pretty well. The song is Micky Yu-Chun - My Girlfriend. The song is very sweet and happy, and makes me feel good when I listen to it.

Today's post is about TVXQ - Beautiful Life. I really like this song, because the lyric says "I love my beautiful ordianry life" and Girl's Generation Yuri is in the Music Video :) I love Girl's Generation! They are one of the groups from the company TVXQ is from. Anyway, I like this song a lot, and hope you enjoy it, too. I'm very tired today, and that is why I am not writing much today. I'm sorry, but it's my blog, so I can write as much as I want to :)

TVXQ - 하루달 (Day Moon) "에어시티(Air City)" OST

When I started this blog posting about TVXQ and their songs, I thought of lining up the songs starting with the earlier ones and then ones that are recent, but now I think I will just be posting what I feel like posting. I don't want to be under pressure when I write, so I will be posting what I want to. Today's song will be TVXQ - 하루달 (Day Moon). This song was an ost of the Korean film, "에어시티(Air City)," and also is one of my favorites, because I like the atmosphere of the song - sad, mysterious, but hopeful. The part where Hero Jae-Jung shouts out a very high note makes me get the goose-bumps, becuase it is so amazing how he sings like that. All TVXQ members are talented at singing and other musical things, and I believe that is the reason people love them and their music.

TVXQ - 믿어요(I Believe . . .)

Today's song is TVXQ's - 믿어요 (Meed-uh-yoh), which means "I Believe" in English. The song is a ballad, where the TVXQ members sing, "I believe . . . that I can fall in love in first sight," and similar lyrics to that. The first part, where Xiah Jun-Su sings, "I believe . . ." -- in Korean -- is loved by many of the fans because his voice is so beautiful and soft, which makes the people who listen to the song feel like they are falling into a pool of sweet marshmellows. The harmony of the song where all five members are singing different melodies and making a beautiful sound is very nice to listen to, too. Two of the five members sing the low parts, two sing at middle height, and one sings very high -- of course, there are differences among the members, who sing similar parts, though.

Many of the members have old-fashioned or a bit unique style of clothes and hair in the Music Video, because this is an old Music Video of TVXQ. Anyway, that doesn't change the fact that they are a great group!

TVXQ - Hug

As I wrote on yesterday's post, I will be posting about the South Korean Group "TVXQ(Dong-Bang-Shin-Gi/Tohoshinki)" and their songs. I will start by talking about their debut song, "Hug." TVXQ's debut was seven years ago, on the 26th of December , 2003. The group's members names are Hero (Yeong-oong-Jae-Jung/Kim Jae-Jung), U-Know (U-Know-Yun-Ho/Jung Yun-Ho), Micky (Micky-Yu-Cheon/Park Yu-Cheon), Xiah (Xiah-Jun-Su/Kim Jun-Su), and Max (Chui-Gang-Chang-Min/Shim Chang-Min).



Their debut song, "Hug" is a very sweet, soft, cozy, and lovable song with a beautiful harmony of voices sung together by the five members. The story of the Music Video is all the members loving one girl and promising to love her forver, also saying "I wish I could be your cat for just one day." or "I wish I could be your bed for just one day, keeping you safe from monsters in your dreams." and more. Very ticklish, indeed, but many teenage girls and women in their twenties loved that concept of a handsome group singing for them, and became fans - they actually are on the Guiness Book of Records, known as the group with most official fans in the whole world.

First Day of Blogging . . . What to Do?

Today, being the first day that I'm starting to blog about something, I needed to think about what I would enjoy writing about. Art, and especially music, being one of my favorite interests, I'm thinking about writing many things about the artists and songs that I love so much and listen to everyday. Many of the artists or singers that I admire are South Korean and American, so I expect there to be a chance for any one who reads this blog to learn about South Korean Music. I believe that it is always good to be able to connect to different cultures and styles of music and art, or just about anything, because you can learn a lot from those things.

I will probably be posting about one group, then another, and then again another, and be writing each day about one of the songs that the group I am talking about sang for some period. For example, I could be talking about Beyonce for maybe two weeks, and everyday I would be writing about one of the many songs that she sang. ex) Monday: Irreplaceable -> Tuesday: Honesty -> Wednesday: Naughty Girl and on and on for a period of time. I won't be writing about every song that belongs to the singer because not all the songs are what I like. Well, I guess this means I will only be posting about songs that I like and favor, not caring about what other people want . . . just joking, I won't be that selfish -- I'm still going to be a little selfish.

I will start tomorrow by posting about the Korean Group TVXQ (in Korean, Dong-Bang-Shin-Gi & in Japanese Tohoshinki) and their songs. Because they are one of the best groups in Korea and Japan (they are a Korean group, but also popular in Japan), who are able to sing well and dance well, compose and write lyrics to many of their songs, it is bad to think about the hard time that they are going through, having conflicts with their company, SM Entertainment -- three of the members sued the company for many reasons including money issues, the unbelieveable schedules that they were given, and human rights for celebrities, and two of them didn't sue the company.

Anyway, beside all this heart-breaking news, I really think that their music is great, and many people aside from Asians should know about it, too, so I will be start posting about them tomorrow. Please be excited!
